Web Development / Farm operations ERP

ERP Misjiwati Farm

A Laravel ERP connecting broiler production records, feed stock, harvest administration, farm settlement, and staff payments in one period-based workflow.

Illustrated workflow from farm cycle and daily recording to harvest, settlement, and payroll

The context

What this project explores.

Misjiwati Farm's system requirements translate an interconnected Excel workbook into a broiler farm ERP. Records are organized by farm, production period, and poultry house so daily operations, stock, harvest, and financial settlement share the same underlying transactions.

Farm owner / manager

Manage a production cycle

When: A new flock is about to enter the poultry houses.

Expected outcome: Daily records and financial reports stay associated with the correct house and cycle; closed-period data is protected.

House controller and farm crew

Record daily performance and weight samples

When: The daily inspection or a weighing session is completed.

Expected outcome: A daily operational view with population checks and consistent sampling-to-recording data.

House controller / harvest administrator

Reconcile harvest and shared weighing notes

When: A truck is weighed during harvest.

Expected outcome: House-level harvest allocations reconcile with the combined weighing document without double counting.

Finance administrator and farm owner

Calculate projected and official settlement

When: Harvest data is available or an official RHPP statement is received.

Expected outcome: Projected and official farm results can be reviewed together and traced back to harvest and cost records.

Review and distribute the cycle result

When: Settlement and operating costs are ready for reconciliation.

Expected outcome: The cycle's financial distribution is explained alongside its production performance.

The following scenarios summarize the system requirements (Draft v0.1 · 16 October 2026). They describe the intended business behavior; they are not a completion checklist for every requirement.

01Manage a production cycleFarm owner / manager

When A new flock is about to enter the poultry houses.

  1. Create the period and assign poultry houses, placement dates, starting population, and DOC information.
  2. Use the active period and house as the context for every transaction; close the period when settlement is complete.

Expected outcomeDaily records and financial reports stay associated with the correct house and cycle; closed-period data is protected.

Requirements: FR-201, FR-203, FR-205, FR-206

02Record daily performance and weight samplesHouse controller and farm crew

When The daily inspection or a weighing session is completed.

  1. Record mortality, culling, and feed use; the controller enters weight samples by sampling point.
  2. Calculate average body weight, population balance, and growth indicators, then consolidate houses using the weighting rules in the specification.

Expected outcomeA daily operational view with population checks and consistent sampling-to-recording data.

Requirements: FR-301–305, FR-307, FR-401–403

03Track feed from receipt to consumptionHouse controller and finance administrator

When Feed arrives, is transferred to a house, or is given to the flock.

  1. Record feed receipts and purchase costs, then allocate warehouse feed to each poultry house.
  2. Log feeding by date, type, time, and quantity; reconcile the ledger against a physical stock count.

Expected outcomeFeed usage becomes the shared source for stock balances, feed cost, and FCR calculations.

Requirements: FR-501–505

04Reconcile harvest and shared weighing notesHouse controller / harvest administrator

When A truck is weighed during harvest.

  1. Enter the harvest note with house, bird count, crate count, weight, and transport references.
  2. Produce separate farm-house and combined partner reports; split a shared note while preserving its original totals.

Expected outcomeHouse-level harvest allocations reconcile with the combined weighing document without double counting.

Requirements: FR-601–604, FR-607–609

05Calculate projected and official settlementFinance administrator and farm owner

When Harvest data is available or an official RHPP statement is received.

  1. Apply the relevant contract weight bracket and compare sales with chick, feed, and veterinary input costs.
  2. Record the official RHPP statement and allocate settlement components to each house using the specified allocation rules.

Expected outcomeProjected and official farm results can be reviewed together and traced back to harvest and cost records.

Requirements: FR-701–704

06Connect operating cash, loans, and payrollFinance administrator

When An expense, staff loan, or payroll run needs to be recorded.

  1. Record operating funds and categorized expenses; keep staff and meal loans identifiable.
  2. Bring the relevant earnings, premiums, and loan deductions into a period-based payslip for each employee.

Expected outcomeOperating costs and repayable loans are treated consistently, and staff receive an itemized payslip.

Requirements: FR-901–904, FR-1001–1004

07Review and distribute the cycle resultFarm owner / manager and finance administrator

When Settlement and operating costs are ready for reconciliation.

  1. Calculate house-level results and the allocations defined for crew, controller, and capital partners.
  2. Review production indicators and the financial breakdown before using the results in reporting and payroll.

Expected outcomeThe cycle's financial distribution is explained alongside its production performance.

Requirements: FR-801–803, FR-1102, FR-1103

The approach

From problem to output.

01

Record at the poultry house

Start a production cycle and capture daily mortality, culling, weight samples, and feed use against the relevant house and period.

02

Connect production and settlement

Use harvest notes and feed records to support performance indicators, contract pricing, and projected versus official farm settlement.

03

Close the internal financial loop

Link operating expenses, staff loans, profit-sharing calculations, and payroll to the same production period.
